Their unique designs are perfect for that special occasion but also durable enough for an everyday stroll through the park. The removable bandana is securely attached for easy removal and addition. You can feel secure knowing UsagiTeam uses the best heavyweight webbing, welded D-Rings, triple stitched stress points and comfortable contoured buckles for your pup.
UsagiTeam grew up in Tokyo and wanted to share the Japanese sensibility for craftsmanship and design. Every collar is handcrafted in San Francisco with personal attention to detail and the highest quality materials. Many of their fabrics are also selected in small runs from their trips back to Japan. Delightful patterns and hidden gems for their bow ties, neck ties and bandanas, are rarely seen anywhere else.
Usagi was always fascinated by the wild fashions of the city and classic beauty of Japan. Early on she began creating her own clothing and accessories as a creative outlet. Her first foray into pet fashion was a hand made rain coat for her friend's newly adopted chihuahua. Seeing the joy it brought, she couldn't wait to make more. UsagiTeam has truly become the meeting of her two most important passions.
When UsagiTeam moved to San Francisco she became active in animal rescue. She then combined her love for animals with her love for fashion. To this day she still donates a portion of sales to local organizations that support our furry friends.
What's My Size?
Finding the perfect collar size is easy. Use a measuring tape to find the circumference of the neck where the collar normally rests. Make sure not to pull too tight or too loose. No measuring tape? Use a string then measure it against a flat ruler.
Small collars have a 1/2" width and Bowtie 4"x2"
Medium collars have a 3/4" width and Bowtie 4.5"x2.5"
Large collars have a 1" width and Bowtie 4.5"x2.5"
Usagi hasn't forgotten your kitty friends either! For them they offer a breakaway collar for added safety. Just select Cat in the drop down. Only available in the 1/2" width.
